Cell Phone Emission Law
San Francisco passes the first law in the United States to requiring cell phone retailers to disclose the phones' specific absorption rate to customers.
The SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) measures the maximum amount of radiation absorded by a person using a handset. The FCC limits SAr to an average of 1.6 watts per kilogram of body tissue.
It should be noted that no conclusion has been reached after several studies if cell phones and risk of developing brain cancer are rleated.
